In an amazing burst of bravadao and
devil-may-care recklessness that is the trademark of a
Mercantiller, Bernard used his trusty bio to save the life of
his beloved dog Clammy. As he tells it, Clammy staggered into
his kitchen nearly lifeless. Bernard had all but a shrivelled
corn cob in his pantry....and also his bio. Needless to say, he
thought nothing else but saving the dog’s life and gave
the life-giving scrap to Clammy for his sup.
Anyway...that’s what he says happened.
